Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Review Trailer : Cowabunga

Nostalgia was on the high when I sat in front of the silver screen ready to watch the revamped version of the Teenage Mutants Ninja Turtles. I remembered the time when I used to draw, poorly though, the four heroes in a half shell, master splinter and shredder in my scrap book.
The movie was refreshing with a lot of effort being put to characterization. I loved Michaelangelo and Leonardo to some extent but found Splinter, Raphael and Donatello to be quite different from what I recall them to be. April O'Neal however was never as hot as Megan Fox's version, so I was really pleased with that part of the movie. Overall the characters were given a lot of thought and the humor was utterly enjoyable.
The story, being different from the one that most of us have been brought up with, was a little disappointing as it took away the logic of why splinter could compete with master shredder. The thought of a self taught splinter and hence not very certified ninja turtles was also not very convincing. There could've been a lot more mystery and grandeur incorporated into the story if the original story was kept.
The acting was good overall. The production value was very impressive with great 3D effects and good special effects. The camera work was swift and captured the action perfectly. The direction and the costumes were commendable and really brought the four heroes alive.
I urge the general audience to give it a watch and especially take the kids to see it. To all the turtles fans.. "You will definitely remember your early years and the way the turtles brought you joy and excitement". COWABUNGA!!

Hollywood and Bollywood Movie Reviews - The Conjuring

Hollywood and Bollywood Movie Reviews - The Conjuring

The Conjuring - Official Trailer 3 by FanReviews

The Conjuring is a great addition to the pure ghostly horror movies in the history of cinema. With gore and thrill, mutation and craze taking over the horror film genre in both Hollywood and Bollywood movie reviews have shown that the general scare factor of an average horror flick has diminished. The Conjuring brings that scary chill and delivers it right to the depth of your bones. A perfect portrayal of a ghost story with a demonic entity bent on destroying a family is what is to be expected when you decide to watch the Conjuring.
As with most of our Hollywood and Bollywood movie reviews we will try to look into the production values, the acting, editing and direction of the film and give a verdict as to how we rate the film overall. The film has great production values with very scary special effects and sleek editing. The story is coherent and the direction is sharp. The cast on the whole has done a great job and created a memorable experience.

Ashley (2013) Movie Review

Ashley the Movie was slow paced flick about a girl finding her way out of darkness. Molested by her father and in the habit of cutting her self, Ashley is a 17 year old who looks to be heading towards a dead end. She finds an older woman and discovers her true beauty through her eyes. Worth a watch only for the stunning Nicole Fox .

Albert Nobbs (2011) Review

"I begin with the name of Allah, the most merciful".

An amazing movie with a stellar performance by Glenn Close. Albert Nobbs is a woman who spends all her life disguised as a man. Working as a waiter she is always looking to get a shop of her own, aspiring to be a tobacconist. The movie takes us on an amazing journey through her life and death.

Acting is amazing and characters are believable. The movie might seem slow but that is the beauty of it. Even silence means something in this beautifully put film. Watch out for some Oscar results!

I rate it 4.5/5. It is worth a watch!
