Margot Robbie, you little beauty! That is what her latest work Terminal left me feeling as the end credits rolled. This feeling is both the positive and the negative associated with this movie. One one hand we have the charismatic Margot Robbie giving us a power pack performance and on the other there is hardly anything else to write home about the movie. Yes, the treatment is stunning, but not anything different than what we have seen in movies like Sin City or Suicide Squad. The contrast of black and red and the dark themes have been done before and the film guide feels that it isn't enough to make a statement. Has the Robbie performance saved the film? Well, I'd say yes! If nothing else she would encourage one to watch the movie once. I'd watch it multiple times for her alone. 

Simon Pegg is average and the rest of the cast does an OK job. The direction is just mediocre and nothing too fancy. They could've made a much better movie with the same revenge oriented theme. The story is interesting, but patchy in places and the shift in time frame makes it a little difficult to enjoy the view Margot presents throughout.

All in all, Margot Robbie has made the film guide a fan all over again. There is at least a point dedicated to her alone in this Hollywood movie review.

Watching Loving Pablo has its own moments of guilty pleasure but the thing is that it leaves an empty feeling when you reach the end. This is the story of the rise and fall of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar Gaviria, founder of the Medellin cartel, as told in voice-over by his glamorous mistress Virginia Vallejo. Different agents were sent to Colombia to deal with this biggest drug lord of all time. But they should never forget that Pablo is not an easy prey for them.

Glossy and action-packed movie filled with thrill and suspense is going to hit the cinema soon. The movie will tell us about how Escobar rose from the slums and was closely involved in government corruption during his reign of terror in Colombia, and it is perhaps this aspect that enticed the director.

Escobar murdered thousands of police officers and innocent people right under the nose of government and yet the government and the world was helpless against the power of Escobar.

Pablo was a person once loved by his people but the table turned upside down and he became the notorious and the worst nightmare and hated person, not only in Colombia but all over the world.

The movie is directed by all time favorite Fernando Leon. The clever pairing of Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz and the strong dialogues will make it more interesting to watch.

Caution: This is not your Kipling's Jungle Book. This takes place in Andy’s mind where he himself is trying to answer the question who is the true monster, man or the animal?

The story of little boy lost in the jungle has been told sparingly over the last couple of years , with Tazan and Disneys live adaptation of The Jungle Book at the forefront but it is going to be Andy Serkis’ version which will have the last say.

Mowgli, so called after our titular protagonist, is not your child hood or your children’s Jungle book, it paints a very serious and grim picture with what seems like animal poaching and human trafficking running wild in early 19th century India.

The clip opens with a very chilling voice-over by Bagheera, Voiced by Christian Bale probably helping Mowgli to escape his prison and mentoring him to be accepted by the jungle and its inhabitants.

We catch a glimpse of all the usual characters from the wolf clan, the Bandar-log monkeys who are not as cuddly as previously portrayed, the majestic Kaa, the director himself takes the role of Baloo and finally the menacing and radiating swagger of Sher Khan, our main antagonist, made all the more intimidating by the amazing Benedict Cumberbatch. 

Andy Serkis, if you all remember, is the amazing actor behind Hollywood's famous motion capture characters like Gollum, King Kong and most recently Supreme Commander Snooke, this is his passion project delayed twice already and has motion capture captured from all the above mentioned actors including Kate Blanchett. This is the master of the craft finally making his magnum opus with visually striking cinematography and action sequences and masterful story telling. 

One look from the initial seconds you are captivated in the world of lavish setting, interior motives, wise friends and murderous enemies.

John Travolta should be enough to make anybody go and watch Gotti.

Directed by Kevin Connolly its a biography of an Italian-American gangster. The film will reveal the relationship of a father who lived his life by the mob code and a son who chose to leave all behind and redeem the Gotti name. The movie gives the inside look in the world of danger, betrayal and redemption. John Gotti was the head of Gambino crime family which in their time was the most powerful and the largest crime organization in the states. John Gotti was known for his outspoken personality and flamboyant style which gained him his name as “The Dapper Don”. He wanted to build something that no one could destroy but after his three high profile trails in 1980s resulted in acquittal by jury tampering of course, law enforcement authorities gathered evidence against Gotti that lead to his downfall.

This R rated movie may not be everyone's cup of tea but hey! if you are looking for some great acting skills this might be it.

Superfly is all about money, fashion, girls, cars and guns.

A fancy trailer that portrays a stylish celebration of excess and wealth wrapped in dangers and societal issues. Superfly is directed by Director X and this movie is a remake of the 1972 blaxploitation film 'Super Fly'. 

Although a lot of changes have been made but, still the guts of the film are very much the same. Trevor Jackson as Priest is a man rising from bottom to build up his own unimpeachable crew. His agility and ardor for wealth makes him a lot more money and buys him all luxuries of life, that surely marked the acme of his career. Climax is well directed when new crew comes across and the Priest's crew goes into peril. The trailer doesn't provide much about the plot except for the fact that the setting has shifted from Harlem to Atlanta.

It's a glamorization of drug trade and crime with all it's pros and cons. They worked more on looks and plot than on story-line. If i summarize it, it is more of a modern spin on the action classic with a poor story-line.

For one month evry year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no holds barred game of tag they've been playing since the first grade-risting their necks,their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry "You're it!". This year, the game coincides with the wedding of their only undefeated player Jerry played by Jeremy Renner, which should finally make him an easy target. But he knows they're coming.. and he's ready. Based on a true story,"Tag" shows how far some guys will go to be the last man standing. 

The movie is rated R, for strong language, sexual content, nudity and use of drugs. 

Directed by a specially comedian Director Jeff Tomsic and written by a well known comedian writer Mark Steilen and Rob McKittrick. 

Believe it or not but this Warner Bros movie will get a high reputation this year in comedy world. And a little advice for you. Must not try to take a sip while watching this movie because giggles aren't going to stop.

The Jurassic World smashed box office back in 2015. Now the Universal Pictures is back with another sequel of Jurassic World. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom will hit the theaters on 22 June 2018 and this will be another amazing movie for thrill and action lovers. 

Like the previous movie, this monstrous horror movie is also written by Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly but this time directed by Juan Antonio in place of the Colin Trevorrow the writer himself.

Like Jurassic World, the American stars Chris Patt and Bryce Dallas Howard are main featured in this sequel.

As it is clear in the Trailer that now the Dinosaurs are out of their island and now free in the cities to spread terror and destruction.  

Now the dinosaurs are more deadly and in more abundance. The dinosaurs are now out of thier island which increases the horror in this movie. 

The trailer is actually made a bit scary and horrifying. It might be a nightmare for all of us to see such gigantic monsters out there on our roads and on our streets. This is what shown in the trailer that the Dinos can even reach bedrooms. Scary...!! Isn't it..?

The graphical work will be extraordinary again as the previous movie was much appreciated for its visual effects and sound effects. That's what increases the thrill of this movie. 

Chris Pratt shared the poster on social media as well saying, "I can't tell you much except... This movie is gonna be freakin' awesome! Who's excited?"

Probably thrill and actions lovers will spend great 128 mins ...

To what were Ant Man and Wasp upto during infinity wars?

Well we still don’t know since this one is set between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Scott Lang is now placed under house arrest after the events of Civil War.

The trailer of the movie promises great new things with, finally a legitimate villain, Ghost, which though not a very imaginative name but still better than what you find at the back of your closet. Yellow jacket.. anyone?!?

It picks up with Scott played by Paul Rudd with his daughter being all vulnerable and questioning his superhero lifestyles, which sets up the stage beautifully for The wasp to be Yin to his yang. 

Wasp Played by Evangeline Lilly is a perfect compliment to paul Ruuds goofy portrayal of Ant man, serious, particular and knows what she is doing plus has a pair of wings which she graciously never lets him forget.

The trailer re-introduces Scott's old partner played by Micheal Pena, Michal Douglas playing Hank Pym and also in the cast is Laurance Fisherbaurn as Bill Foster or Goliath from the comics.

The trailer already promises a marked improvement from the previous one with the main attraction being the Character of the main Antagonist, Ghost played by Hannah John-Kamen. Marvel realized sometime back that the key to a successful movie is an engaging villain which actually has a screen presence and not just there as a punching bag with a bunch of one liners. An interesting point over here is that they have changed the sex of Ghost over here as in comics it was a man, but hey it still looks kick ass and will give the heroes a run for their money.

Lastly looks like they have finally gotten a hang of how to properly use both the shrinking and expansion powers of ant man and wasp for a proper fight scene choreography and thankfully we will be spared the Thomas engine climax fight from last time.

Overall with a gap between marvel film schedule this definitely looks like an enticing desert served by Disney and co. to cap off their superhero summer and something not to be missed at all.

The most Insane Amusement Park Ever.

Johnny Knoxville  is back with his daredevil ways in his new brand new adventurous , comedy movie Action Point, directed by Tim Kirkby.

In his movie, Knoxville as DC is the owner of a low rent , real messed up theme park .Just when his daughter "Boogie"  comes  to meet him, an analogous Mega park opens that endangers the future of his Park. To save his theme park and relation with his daughter, DC with his head full of crackpot ideas and his misfit squad , redesigned his park by adding real stunts , higher slides with higher speed and thrills with maximum fun.The park went popular  for it's unsafe rides, under-trained staff, unprepared visitors with resulting poor safety records.

This movie is a must watch as it's trailer promises amusement and fun that will keep you glued to screen and you will laugh your lungs out.

If you're looking for some mind blowing Action Drama Thriller and Sci-Fi Movie, then Christopher Nolan's one of the highest grossing 'THE DARK KNIGHT' is the right movie to watch. Batman isn't a comic book anymore. The Dark Knight is a hauled film that leaps beyond its origin and becomes an engrossing tragedy.

Dark Knight is the second movie of Dark Knight Trilogy in which a Mysterious and Psychopath Criminal "THE JOKER" starts spreading Crime in the Gotham with his Evil Mastermind. The most interesting thing about this villain and why he is hailed as the most iconic villain in the history is that he doesn't want anything materialistic like Honor, Respect, Fame, Money or Authority and he doesn't believe in any of this. He just loves Crime.

The Movie is bit Sentimental in some parts too. A Touch of Sci-Fi with advance gadgets specially the famous BAT MOBILE. You can't ignore the role of Hans Zimmer the Music Producer who produced such a goose bump giving soundtrack. 

The movie was nominated for 8 Oscars in 2009 and won 2 of them. One of them won by deceased actor Heath Ledger who played Joker in this movie. He died before the movie made its first show. He won the Oscar for "The Best Actor in Supporting Role". 

This Movie is still hailed as The Greatest Superhero Movie of all time. It is among the top 4 of the Highest rated movie list of IMDB given the rating of 9.0 and 94% rating by Rotten Tomatoes .

I am a big fan of I spit on your grave and Revenge is a little gem from the same genre. As the name suggests it is based on vengeance. A mistress of a wealthy man, wrong-done and raped by his friends, gets back at them in a manner punctuated with gore and fury. If you have issues with gore, torture, blood, open wounds and full frontal nudity, then this might not be your piece of cake. It is however, directed, written and paced beautifully and is a very taut and visually pleasing piece of cinema.

Matilda Anna acts aptly as the leading lady and looks hot as well. Kevin Janssens is strong, ruthless and at times too naked :D. 

For parents, this movie has a suggestive rape situation and at least 15 minutes of full frontal nudity which is graphic and not suitable for children under the age of 16 in my humble opinion.

All in all, a movie worth your time and with a comfortable 108 minutes, it isn't even too long. Enjoy!
