Returning to her childhood home in Louisiana to recuperate from a horrific car accident, Jessabelle comes face to face with a long-tormented spirit that has been seeking her return -- and has no intention of letting her escape.

Jessabelle (2014) on IMDb

Director: Kevin Greutert
Writer: Robert Ben Garant
Stars: Sarah Snook, Mark Webber, Joelle Carter

Jessabelle is a new addition in the horror movies this year. It is in fact a pretty good effort and delivers with a strong story line and a considerable amount of scares. The plot has great margin for performances and has been justified by some really up to the mark acting. The characterization, atmosphere and feel of the movie provides for an unsettling experience that captures interest of the audience. The spirit is well crafted and look pretty scary.

Horror Movie 'Jessabelle' - Official Trailer by The Seven Sees

Sarah Snook is very attractive and comes forward as a good actor. She portrays the subtle change of shades in Jessie's character to perfection. Her performance is fresh and very gripping. Mark Webber plays an honest role and fills in the customary part of the male protagonist. Joelle Carter is mysterious and pretty and her presence keeps the audiences wondering as to how her character is connected to the haunting of Jessabelle. To me Joelle is a very strong reason for the whole suspense of the movie.

Horror fans will find Jessabelle (2014) very entertaining and it is a great movie to watch with friends and family.
